Scott Hoffman wins the Pinnacle Long drive contest and a trip to Las Vegas for the final long drive contest. Northway 8 Golf Center hosted this area's Pinnacle competition.

Jim Kanniski drove from Kingston to take his five shots at a free Cobra diver and a trip to Las Vegas but came in second to Scott Hoffman. After five shots each - the two long hitters were tied.  No one knocked them out of that firsdt place tei and mid afternoon, it came down to a playoff.  Kanniski went first and Hoffman had tied the match with one shot to go. Showing great form, Hoffman nailed his last shot down the center of the grid and into the trees - some 325 yeards plus to cinch the win. Kanniski plans to take what he learned from this competition to Pinnacle's other long drive contests.
